Social Skills Program is open to any children with autism. We provide a setting that allows the child to learn communication, fine motor/gross motor and social skills without being judged or being compared to others. Children are paired with a Program Facilitator in a low ratio setting based on the child’s developmental level. Specific goals are set for each child to help them grow and develop.
Group 1 (maximum of 6 children) Teaching children functional communication and social skills. Children should be vocal and should not display major behaviours in order to be eligible for this group.
Group 2 (maximum of 4 children) Teaching children functional life skills and self-regulation skills. Children in this group do not have to be vocal and should bring their own communication system to join the program. Children in this group may exhibit some challenging behaviours.
The fee for each session is $50 and it runs from 9am-12pm. This is not a drop-in program and it requires a quarterly attendance commitment from the family.
